Video Games are so Sexist!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, I saw a video game the other day that REALLY PISSED me off because it was sooooooo sexist. It was boxing of course, which I would have so much more respect for and actually watch if it weren’t for the “I am a pig and cant get through a sport without seeing tits and ass ring card girls”

Its a  freaking VIDEO game…..ok, I know I shouldnt be suprised….afterall….they make shit like “grand theft auto”….and we wonder why teens bring guns to school?? hmmm, let me think….DUH…..or wait…no….its JUST A VIDEO GAME…right? just the same as….dont take it so seriously….its just a movie……where do you think Columbine high and their proteges got their ideas?? 15 minutes of fame? our society makes it too easy….hmm, I want to be noticed…because the media focuses so much attention on murderes an when people fuck up…all I have to do is try to shoot someone or worse and I will be noticed! cause any attention is good attention including negative right??… which our society thrives on. Does that mean I can go bomb a building or suck the presidents dick under their table? arent those such positive things for our youth to focus on? Yes! of course they are, that is why those people write books about it and have televison shows glamourizing what they have done….BRAVO!!!

anyway, this video game had the regular boxing, which is totally respectable and a sport, but then they have this ring card girl come out which you could imagine was enhanced being it was computerized. Huge tits, tiny waist (barbie doll) wearing a STRING bikini and was so offensive I had to walk out of the room cause quite honestly….I have felt more comfortable seeing nudity in a movie than seeing that shit on a damn RATED “T” video game….rated T meaning TEEN….ok…..who is with me here….13 and 19 are pretty different in maturity RIGHT?

Would you want your 13 year old KID watching that shit. I am so sick of the assholes out there saying “oh you take this too seriously, got a stick up your ass, let the kids do what they want mentality”

ok, you fucking SHIT FOR BRAINS that claim the “anything goes” and “its just a video game” motto….give doctor Phil a call when your kid becomes a serial killer or a rapist and ask “why oh why did he turn out like this? I thought letting him do whatever the fuck he wanted and having an easy going “i am not your parent but your friend” mentally was the way to go?

(this is when doctor Phil bitch slaps you and tells you what a complete and total FUCKING MORON you are)

Media Objectifies Women, I am not alone here!

http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2007-02-19-sexualized-girls_x.htm

The panel defined sexualization as occurring “when a person’s value comes only from her/his sexual appeal or behavior, to the exclusion of other characteristics, and when a person is sexually objectified, e.g., made into a thing for another’s sexual use.”

The report cites Bratz dolls, in particular, for “sexualized clothing such as miniskirts, fishnet stockings and feather boas.”

“Although these dolls may present no more sexualization of girls or women than is seen in MTV videos, it is worrisome when dolls designed specifically for 4- to 8-year-olds are associated with an objectified adult sexuality,” the report says.

Women degraded by youth culture

Alan Wright…Interesting views of women being degraded

http://media.www.diamondbackonline.com/media/storage/paper873/news/2006/12/14/Opinion/Degrading.Women-2551617.shtml

I liked this part. So well written and so true;

That is why I think Di Frisco is misguided to say, “the female models … were often in positions of power throughout the show … The dichotomy of each runway team depicted the woman as the powerful person in the relationship.” The fact that women are generally shown to be dominant only when flaunting their sexuality or being hyperly consumeristic is not reflective of power. Rather, it’s symbolic of female subordination throughout society.

NBC obssessed with using Strip Club Scenes, objectifying, and demoralizing women, NBC is sexist!!

And using it in such unrealistic situations; Teens drinking and in a strip club on a regular tv station?

http://www.parentstv.org/PTC/publications/TVTrends/2008/0207.asp

You cant even legally get into a strip club unless you are 21 but thats not the point. This is how NBC wants to influence high school students? That is what they focus on? Isn’t there enough smut and garbage out there? Why the need to constantly add more? High school students dont need to be focusing on strip clubs. They have their whole life for that crap. And trust me, I have been to strip clubs before and don’t get what the big deal is. But apparently NBC feels the need to use scenes that I personally find exploiting to women on public television. They just continuously push the envelope. Why do they feel it so neccessary to put scenes on a public television station that are of adult content, unrealistic, controversial, and insulting towards women? Doesn’t this bother anyone else? Or do people just look the other way pretending it doesnt bother them…..pretty soon there will be a girl in pasties or boobie tassles and a g-string….and someone will say, “oh its ok….she isn’t “naked” so I don’t mind my 10 year old watching it.” what really does naked mean anymore? I see shows with such little clothing on that it almost appears they are naked anyway.

I can see NBC heading down the road where they get racier and are in the same category as FOX….then a few years later they will be just another SPIKE channel that is chauvanist resorting to “sex sells” cause they are too stupid and arent creative enough to think of anything else. Are tv stations that boring and unintelligent that the only thing they can think of to sell their station is sex? Little do they know, they lose viewers (mostly female) due to this. I almost stopped watching one of my favorite shows because there was a strip club scene. I just rolled my eyes in disbelief. Luckily it only happened a couple of times and now its back to normal….but COME ON….if someone wants to go to a strip club (an ADULT not a 17 year old kid) then that is their business and that is fine. It has nothing to do with me and I dont give a damn. But when it is shoved in our face on a “PG” public television show, it can be upsetting. Tone it down for Christ’s Sake. Enough is enough already. Give us female viewers a break and go out to a strip club so we dont have to freaking watch it on tv all the time. If you really need to see tits and rub one out, do female viewers have to go thru it with you? NO

NBC sucks and I avoid them at all costs. They are a shitty excuse for a regular tv station and are just another SPIKE tv with “girls gone wild” commercials in the making…..PATHETIC

NBC can BLOW ME…or wait….no….they would probably like that and ask me if I could take my top off while they do it

NBC using models for game shows too much?

Does anyone think the eye candy is getting out of hand? It seems that almost every game show I see now has models dressed up scantily clad, with push up bras and short skirts exuding sex appeal.
Is it now MEN’S television? …come on…..50% of the viewers are women…..

Women shouldn’t have to “not mind” it or tolerate it by looking the other way. They should be able to enjoy tv shows and not feel uneasy about public television game shows. There is “SPIKE” tv for chauvanistic tv and for males viewing pleasure.

Maybe just either dont have excessive amounts of female eye candy, or ….here’s a thought, make it equal and have male eye candy for the female viewers as well. Sometimes women enjoy looking at sexy men. Why can’t they be in tight tank tops, showing their biceps and pecks? Why don’t we ever see that, and only sexy women? I feel that is unfair and sexist.

The only show I can think of that doesn’t have sexy models is “Family Feud” LOL

and there are shows like Wheel of Fortune that aren’t sexist in my opinion.
Vanna White is dressed like a lady and wears evening gowns looking very elegant.

But one show that I think is totally sexist, has uneccessary provacatively dressed models, and that I don’t watch because of it is “Deal or No Deal” http://www.nbc.com/Deal_or_No_Deal/playwin/dondregister.shtml

Is this a TV game show, or a competition for Playboy Magazine? Their advertisement shows 3 women wearing tight clothes showing a huge amount of cleavage. Then 3 other featured models with quotes “meet the models” “meet the upcoming models”

It doesn’t look like a tv show, it looks like an adult modeling agency or dating service that has a game show on the side. Anyone kinda turned off by this sex sells image when it comes to family game shows? I know sex sells a lot and probably more so for men. But it doesn’t sell me. I love game shows, but I don’t watch this one cause of the objectification of women. I thought families liked to sit around and watch these type shows? Since when does family and sexy models go together?

Here is another show that I can’t bring myself to watch. When it debuted, once again it was hard for me to focus on the game because they had what appeared to be go-go dancers wearing bikini tops, and short skirts. http://www.nbc.com/The_Singing_Bee/

I read that there were complaints. Viewers felt it was not only unappropriate the way they were dressed but also the way they were dancing. Hello…..we aren’t in an 18+ club with go-go dancers in cages. It’s a game show that families watch. Do we have to bring sexuality into everything?

The “interview with the honeybees” video made my boobs hurt just watching it. The tight skimpy outfits are so clearly meant to “enhance” their figure. The woman on the left looked like her boobs were squeezed together so hard that they were going to pop out and hit the girl next to her giving her a black eye. Does anyone that watches that video actually look at her FACE? …..I was too distracted myself. I just wouldn’t feel comfortable and dont think others would either watching that show….especially say, with your 7 year old daughter. When the girls are dressed like NFL cheerleaders which are known for being over the top sexy, go-go dancers, or people say they look like “Hooters girls”….I think people will agree….its a bit MUCH.

http://www.nbc.com/The_Singing_Bee/photos/#cat=308&sec=959&mea=24606

any shorter of a skirt on honey bee”Ferly”, and you can see her Kootch. Great example for young girls….as you can see on the website, there is praise from the men (of course DUH, cause its a “mans world” and the pervs need tending) and then there are complaints from the women saying the “bees” look like hooters girls with too short of skirts.

Lame show, Lame Lame Lame……I would have liked to watch this show but it blows because its yet ANOTHER show that uses sex (women) to sell…..

I watch “Dont forget the Lyrics” Instead. They are able to have a fun game show without sexy models, go go dancers, eye candy, big boobs, and short skirts….who would have thought that was possible!?!?!

Immigrant reform?

Shouldnt they call it “People who have broken the law but want to be the exception to the rule?” They haven’t earned the right to stay here. Just because they have stayed a certain amount of time doesn’t mean squat. It just means they have broken the law longer. Do it LEGALLY.  Its not a right to live here, its a privelege and everyone needs to follow the guidelines…..

If you are an illegal immigrant, I am sorry if your country sucks but that doesnt give you the right to come into our country and break our laws for your convenience. You show complete selfishness, ignorance, and disrespect to our country.

dictionary meaning of illegal immigrant/alien:

“1)A foreigner who has entered the country unlawfully or without the countries authorization.” 2) ” A foreigner who enters the U.S. without visa, especially a person who avoids inspection or who overstays the period of time allowed as a visitor, tourist, or business person.”

the key words that stand out to me are; unlawfully, avoiding inspection, overstays, visitor, etc. etc.
Now…. the opposite…

dictionary meaning of resident alien:

“1)An alien who legally establishes residency in the U.S”

pretty plain and simple, and you dont need to write it in spanish to “comprende.”

If you want to come into this country….do it LEGALLY. Quit breaking our fucking rules. It is rude, insulting and the actual CITIZENS work our asses off and pay taxes for YOU. how fucked up is that!?!?!

If you followed the law to begin with, you wouldnt have to do your little marches and protests. It is so ludicrous to me that these people march down the street, heads held high, proud and act as if no wrong has been done. Hello…they came into the country and broke our laws.

speaking of laws…how do you like this one?

when pregnant women sneak into our country so they can have their baby here. I know all mothers want whats best for their children. But that is selfish for the mother and unfair to US citizens.
Did you know that if your baby is sick, had only 6 months to live needing a transplant and there was another baby that was born illegally but only had 4 months,…. that baby would get treated first?….YES…the baby that was brought illegally into our country while you have lived here all your life and have U.S. citizenship? that baby lives and yours would die………
Using a child in any situation is fucked up, but to use them so you dont have to do your 7 years for citizenship is a real cowardly way to sneak your way in and you are fucking over other families who have babies as well………..

Hey if you want to pay the fines for all of the laws you have broken, back track pay your taxes for however many years you were here illegally and the fines for not paying those taxes, and then on top of that, do the prison time for which you owe for committing felonies, then fine….go ahead and stay after you follow AMERICAN laws…..but I wont hold my breath……..

Lousy role models for teens and young girls, Miley Cyrus “Hannah Montana”, Jaime Lynn Spears

Miley Cyrus who plays “Hannah Montana” on the DISNEY channel is the epidemy of bad judgement and horrible role model for young girls.
She is 15 !!!!!!!! why is she posing seductively on the cover of Vanity Fair?? and at the same time working for DISNEY?
And…Disney is …ok with this? I don’t know whats worse. A 15 year old girl and her parents ok’ing this, or Disney not doing anything about it. WTF?

Hell, why dont I just get a job on Sesame Street as “Big Bird”, flop around saying things like;
“hi kids! lets have a super duper day today! hu hu” while I’m high 5′n the cookie monster……
and then go pose for Larry Flynnts Hustler Magazine spread eagle!!!…..ya those two go together great dont they!?!?!
perfect example for young developing minds who’s lives are heavily influenced by the people they look up too.

Hey, does Jaime Lynn Spears have a protege!?! She gets knocked up at…what was it 16? then Hannah Montana is nude covering herself with only a bed sheet on Vanity Fair at 15?

They could start their own t.v. show. Hmmm, the title….how about
“15 & 16, topless & knocked up”
tag line; what better way for Disney to project positive influence on our youth! (applause)

hey, I saw a hooker in the alley last night shooting up heroin with a couple of crack heads. Maybe I should ask her if she is interested in working with Disney too??

Bravo Bravo! and yet again, we are proven to be the ultimate stupidity of mankind. Anyone else feel the heat wave of embarrassment approaching us for being a U.S. citizen? It sure is starting to get hot…

Are we really “proud to be an American” when people laugh at us for being so retarded? We look up to girls like these? and then we wonder why our country is so fucked up. It makes me want to move away and change my citizenship.
either that, or bang my head against a wall screaming “WHY WHY WHY”

It wouldn’t irk me so much if these girls didn’t represent CHILDRENS television shows. But they do. I dont know whats going on with Jaime Lynn, I think she quit the show or something and her parents hid her away in a farm somewhere in Lousinana from the shame. But Hannah Montana is HUGE and probably the most talked about and viewed childrens show today. What the hell kind of example is Disney showing with this? heck when I was a kid, it was all about ;

being a kid.

Is that so hard to come by nowadays? Is it too much to ask for a childrens role model not to be a sex symbol? Jesus, at least wait till your 18 for christs sake. the parents are responsible and need to ok this, so they are at fault. but a 15 year old girl knows what she is doing. Come on Montana…quit milking the “I am an innocent child” bullshit. You knew exactly what you were doing. So that makes you, and your parents DUMBASSES. Please dont reproduce. There are enough stupid people in the world today…too many infact.

these girls who are in the spot light, do these type of things, and act like its no big deal. They are followed and admired by young girls. They have their posters on kids walls. Dont you think that their actions are going to affect their fans? The more these kind of things happen..the more pressure our youth and teens feel to be sexy.

DISNEY PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS AND YANK THIS GIRL FROM REPRESENTING YOU!!
