MPAA is completely USELESS and lacks detail and credibility, Use “Parents Guide”

Parents Guide which is right underneath the useless  MPAA description;

http://imdb.com/title/tt0478311/
“Knocked UP”
MPAA: Rated R for sexual content, drug use and language.

“Knocked Up”
Parents Guide: Sex & Nudity

About four scenes of people having sex on a television - Strong sexual references nearly non-stop - The language is mostly sexually oriented - People have sex graphically for a pretty long time - About 19 minutes in and an hour and 20 minutes in, nudity is seen - Ben asks Allison to “do it doggy style while doing it” Two men go to a strip club in Vegas where we see two naked women, one pushes her bare breasts into a man’s face, the other moves her bare butt on another man’s face .

hmmmm, which one is more descriptive and helpful in making a decision on whether or not to see this movie? I wish I would have known about “Parents Guide” cause knowing this information, I would have never gone to see this movie and would have saved me the time and money.

The MPAA ratings are completely worthless in detail and I don’t see why the MPAA is even around since there is “Parents Guide” that not only clarifies movie descriptions to help parents decide whether or not they want their kid to watch it…..but it also helps people like me, that dont like movies with nudity in it, to not be suprised by a movie that is only listed as SC with a bunch of naked women in it. Thank You “Parents Guide“!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are much more helpful and descriptive than the MPAA which in my opinion does not do their job.

Here are a few more examples to show you just how much more descriptive parents guide is.

Parental Guide: Sex & Nudity

In a large hotel room full of nude and semi-nude people there are three scenes of full male frontal nudity (they include close-ups of male genitalia), and we also see two women’s bare breasts. We see a middle-aged nude couple asleep in an armchair (his bare chest, arms and legs and her bare breasts, buttocks, arms and legs are visible). A husband and wife argue in several scenes that include shoving, choking, slapping and also implied sex: In one scene, she slaps him 4 times, tells him she cannot kiss him, then kisses him anyway and in another, they choke each other, and she pulls down his trousers and the scene ends, implying that they have sex. A wife finds her husband licking the bare toes of a woman he has just married in a case of bigamy; the second woman is wearing a negligee that reveals her thighs to the buttocks, cleavage and bare arms. In two scenes, a man lies in bed with a woman sitting on his groin, bouncing up and down; she wears a long, opaque silky blouse and panties and we see her bare breasts from the side, her bare abdomen, bare thighs and legs, but not her face. Several scenes show a man in bed with one to three women: In one scene, we see only the couple from the bare shoulders up, but in others we see women in panties and short nightgowns or very large, wide black bras, and several times we see women’s bare legs to mid-thigh. In a club scene, fully clothed people (women in wide, knee-length skirts and deep cut blouses that reveal cleavage), simulate sex acts on the dance floor in an exaggerated way. In an MTV video of a rapper and his dancers, we see the singer rub his hands over one woman’s clothed breast and we see other female dancers gyrating in suggestive ways. A man and a woman perform a suggestive love song with explicit phrases and the scene cuts to them licking ice cream cones suggestively while looking at each other. One scene shows a man, high on drugs, insisting upon a wife swap with his friend; after a mild disagreement, the man takes the friend’s wife, leaving the other woman and the friend looking at each other, disoriented. In several club/auditorium scenes and one party scene, we see several women in low-cut dresses that reveal cleavage and there are women wearing mini-skirts that reveal thighs up to the buttocks. Several scenes show a man wearing shorts or underwear and no other clothing, holding liquor or wine bottles. A man and a woman work together in a garage woodshop and their woodworking is full of sexual innuendo: He sands the leg of a chair while staring at the woman (who’s smiling at him while using a large tool to gouge a hole in wood), he uses a large screwdriver while staring and panting, and he uses a sander (his body is vibrating), while staring at the woman with his mouth open and his eyes wide. Elvis Presley leaves a performance, and hugs 6 young women as they leave, and it is implied he will have sex with all of them. A woman tells a man that, “I want a man’s touch. By that I mean a penis in my vagina.” A discussion between a famous singer and his band reveals that he had sex with one of the male band member and with the wife of another. A man states, “reefer makes sex better.” A man’s name is “Cox” and it is used suggestively throughout the film, implying a penis, and at one point he is billed with another man as “Cox and Little Nut Sack.” A club manager tells a janitor, “My customers come here to dance erotically and they need a clean floor to do it on.” A young man tells his wife to stop complaining about money and his traveling for work, because he is only a 15-year-old with a wife and baby. A man is a bigamist and holds up his hand to show two wedding rings on one finger.

now the MPAA does say graphic nudity, but it seems like from the description, that there is a lot more than just nudity that is graphic. It sounds like borderline porn or soft porn to me, and once again the MPAA lacks description.

To help you make better decisions on what movies you would like to watch, Parental Guide gives you in depth descriptions to help you choose what you or your family would like to see. I thank Parents Guide for taking the time to let people know what is really in the movies! thanks! Kiss
